New Build Architecture
Based in Poitiers, NODA architecture studio supports new build architecture projects in France and abroad, from the first architectural intentions through to the building permit and construction site supervision. As an architect, we design contemporary, sensitive and functional architecture, carefully considered in relation to the site, its context and its future users.
A commercial project or new build house always begins with a detailed understanding of the place and its needs. Site orientation, views, access, neighbouring context, planning constraints, natural light and everyday uses are all elements that inform the design process. The aim is to create coherent, comfortable and sustainable volumes and spaces, able to respond to present expectations while anticipating future changes.
Contemporary architecture designed around each project
Each project is developed as a bespoke response, with the aim of optimising uses, circulation, natural light and everyday comfort. Through a sober and contemporary architectural language, NODA imagines durable and coherent projects, adapted to their context as well as to their users.
Our approach goes beyond the creation of an architectural volume. We also consider the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces, the transitions between different areas, and the integration of the project within its environment. The architectural project is conceived as a harmonious whole, where architecture, uses, materials and atmosphere naturally interact.
Comfort, climate and energy performance
Our approach pays particular attention to the evolution of the climate, especially through the management of sunlight throughout the seasons. This reflection helps improve comfort in both summer and winter, while contributing to the design of a more energy-efficient architecture.
The orientation of openings, solar protection, natural ventilation, material choices and the quality of outdoor spaces all contribute to this search for comfort. A new build project offers the opportunity to design, from the very beginning, a more responsible architecture, better adapted to its context and to the ways we will live tomorrow.
