Placard WW

The Placard WW project was designed for a classic apartment located in the city centre. It takes the form of a large custom-made piece of furniture combining shelving and an integrated desk.

The unit extends across the full height of the room, optimising the available space while creating a continuous composition. When the doors are opened, the cabinet reveals a functional interior layout composed of multiple levels of shelving and a workspace directly integrated into the furniture.

The textured doors form the project’s main graphic feature. Their openwork structure, created through a pattern of diagonal slats, produces a dynamic motif that changes with the light and the viewing angle. When closed, the doors create a unified facade that conceals the furniture’s different functions.

Les portes texturées constituent l’élément graphique principal du projet. Leur trame ajourée, dessinée par un jeu de lames diagonales, crée un motif dynamique qui évolue selon la lumière et le point de vue. Lorsqu’elles sont fermées, elles forment une façade homogène et dissimulent les différents usages du meuble.
